Earthquake Hits Britain With Tremors Felt From Blackpool To Cornwall earthquake1EMSC

A 4.7 magnitude earthquake has hit Britain, with people from and everywhere from Cornwall to Blackpool reporting shakes.

The quake occurred shortly after 2.30pm.

It’s main central point was near to Swansea.

Tremors where felt across many parts of the Britain.

First estimated at 4.9, the quake was later amended to 4.7, making it the strongest to hit Britain in a while.

The biggest earthquake in record was in the North Sea, near the dogger bank, in 1931.
