A lady who was partially sucked by a airplane window after an engine exploded in mid-air has died.

Seven passengers have been injured when the engine of the Southwest Airways Flight 1380 exploded and needed to make an emergency touchdown in Philadelphia, US.

The Boeing 737-700 had left New York’s La Guardia airport and was on its method to Dallas, Texas, with 143 passengers and 5 crew when the explosion occurred.

Witnesses mentioned an engine on the airplane’s left facet blew out which smashed a window and inflicting cabin stress to dramatically drop.

The lady, who’s being recognized as Wells Fargo worker, Jennifer Riordan, was partially sucked by the window earlier than being pulled again in by fellow passengers, in response to reviews.

Riordan, a 43, a mother-of-two from Albuquerque, was reported to have been coming back from a enterprise journey in New York.
